Maiden of Dreams
Volume III
With Murquee vanquished and the war ended, Indigo Frost and her companions celebrate their hard-earned victory with a feast at the Forgotten Temple. Just when Indigo thought her divine quest to rescue the gods was over, the High Priestess utters six little words that forces her to set aside her hopes of a normal life, “The gods are still not free.”
In order for Indigo to free the gods, she and her closest allies must search the far reaches of their world in hopes of obtaining the fabled relics scried by the mysterious Oracles of Lorbascus. Their journey will be wrought with dangers. Some they expect. Others they never could have fathomed. But all must be conquered to procure the ancient artifacts required to free the gods.
Indigo’s travels will lead her back through the Plains of Despair and into the perilous ruins of the Lower City of Virtue. To succeed, she must push herself beyond the boundaries of mortal flesh and transcend into the realm of the gods, guided only by the strange lyrics of a nursery rhyme recited by an ancient druid who is more than he pretends to be.
To complicate matters, Indigo must finally confront her true enemy in his own realm. The world, and all she holds dear, hangs in the balance. But how does a lowly peasant girl defeat a god?
